Resource recovery
Wastewater from many industries contains harmful but also valuable pollutants, such as minerals and metals.
Often these are difficult and costly to extract and reuse. An increased resource recovery will lead to reduced strain on finite global resources. It’s ensuring a more sustainable resource usage in line with the UN goals for a sustainable development 2030.
CWT extracts pure water from contaminated industrial process water. The polluted concentrate that remains is suitable for resource recovery where valuable metals and minerals can be extracted and recycled. This way the use of CWT technology can contribute to both mineral and energy savings as less energy will be put on mining and extracting virgin minerals.
